castilbrief

Last updated 12 August 2026. These terms set out what this editorial desk publishes about Spanish immersion courses, what it does not do, and the basis on which you may use the material here. Schools, camps and accommodation providers named in our articles publish their own documents, and those govern any enrolment you make with them.

Agreement to these terms

By reading these pages on castilbrief.pro you accept the terms below for the castilbrief editorial desk. They are written in plain language on purpose, and they are short because the relationship is simple: we publish editorial material about Spanish immersion courses, and you read it and decide what to do with it.

Questions about these terms: [email protected] · +34 910 052 174 · Calle de Serrano 41, 28001 Madrid, Spain.

What this site is

An independent editorial desk covering Spanish language immersion — courses at don Quijote Spanish schools and the wider market of language travel in Spain and Latin America. We describe timetables, levels, housing arrangements, accreditation context, examination timing and the practical texture of a study fortnight.

We are not a school, an examination board, an accreditation body or a travel agency. Enrolment, payment, accommodation contracts and travel arrangements happen between you and the provider you choose, under that provider's documents.

Editorial independence and accuracy

No provider reviews a page before publication or edits one afterwards. We work from published material, documents shared with us, and reader accounts. We try hard to be accurate and we correct errors in public with a dated note.

Even so, this is a market where prices, calendars, class caps and staff change every season. Treat figures on this site as shapes rather than quotations, and confirm anything decisive with the school in writing before you travel.

No professional or contractual advice

Nothing here is legal, immigration, medical, financial or educational advice for your particular situation. Visa requirements depend on your nationality and the length of your stay. Insurance requirements depend on your travel and your age. Recognition of a certificate depends on the institution or employer that will read it. We describe how these things generally work; you or your adviser must apply them to your case.

Third-party names and trade marks

School names, network names, examination names and trade marks belong to their owners and are used here for identification and editorial comment. Their appearance on this site does not indicate sponsorship, endorsement, partnership or any commercial relationship in either direction.

Your use of the site

You may read, quote briefly with attribution and link to these pages. You may not republish substantial extracts, scrape the site systematically, or present our material as your own. You may not attempt to interfere with the site's availability or security, and you may not submit content through the contact form that is unlawful, misleading or somebody else's personal data supplied without their knowledge.

Intellectual property

Text, structure and original photography on this site belong to the desk unless otherwise stated. Requests to reproduce more than a short quotation are usually granted for non-commercial educational use; write and ask.

We link to schools, examination bodies, accreditation registers and public information sources because verification requires it. We do not control those destinations and we are not responsible for their content, their availability or the terms on which they operate.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, including decisions made about a course, a destination or a travel date. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Availability

Pages are published as they are and may be revised, restructured or withdrawn. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and maintenance sometimes happens without notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Where you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the European Union, mandatory consumer protections available to you in your country of residence are unaffected.

Corrections policy

We correct in public. A factual error is fixed in the text and noted at the foot of the page with a date, so that anyone who read the earlier version can see what changed. Substantive corrections — a wrong lesson count, a misdescribed accreditation, a fee structure reported inaccurately — are always noted. Typographical fixes are not.

If you believe a page is wrong, send the document that shows it. A published calendar, a terms page, a certificate or an email from a school settles almost every dispute within a day. Assertions without documents take longer and sometimes end with us describing both positions.

Comments and material you send us

Learner accounts sent to the desk may be quoted in articles, edited for length and clarity, and attributed by first name and city. If you would prefer your account not to be published, say so in the message and it will be treated as background only. You keep the rights to your own words; by sending them for publication you grant us permission to quote them in editorial context.

Please do not send material you are not entitled to share — internal school documents covered by confidentiality, another person's contact details, or anything a former employer would recognise as their property.

Accessibility

Pages use semantic headings, skip links, text alternatives for images and colour contrast intended to remain readable at ordinary zoom levels. Typography loads from an external font service and degrades to a system font if that request is blocked. If a page is unusable with a screen reader or a keyboard, tell us which page and which assistive technology, and it will be treated as a defect rather than a preference.

Contact and complaints

Write to the address in the footer. Corrections are welcome and are acted on quickly when they come with a document or a link. Complaints about editorial content are answered by a person rather than a form, and we will tell you plainly whether we intend to change the page.
